It's a GIRL!!!

20 weeks now!! I was always complaining about how small my belly was and then woke up the other day and this thing was there, haha. I'm starting to get big!

It's a little hard to see but this is our baby girl's butt :) Showing everyone we're having a girl!! I made sure the ultrasound tech checked a bunch of times to make sure there wasn't anything hiding...... But she said it's definitely a girl. YAY!!!

Well our little miss chunky pants is already 15 ounces, which measures her about 7 days bigger than she should be. Needless to say, we're having a HUGE baby. I'm going to have to blame that on my husband who weighed 11lbs when he was born! Getting pretty nervous already about giving birth, considering she's only getting bigger from here, eek! But on the plus side, the nurse said she is a very healthy baby, that's all I can ask for!

Baby Bump

Here I am at 17 weeks. I still feel pretty small but the pants aren't buttoning anymore, I'm using the sweet rubberband trick until I can find a bella band my size. Our last check up was about a week ago and the nurse said everything looks good. We scheduled our next appointment for June 3rd to find out the sex!!! We can't wait!

Baby Fi

Here's my little baby pooch. I wish it would hurry up and get bigger, right now I feel like I'm in the akward chubby stage... We went to the doctor yesterday for our ultrasound to check to see what was going on, and I'm sad to say there are no twins, BUT we do have one very active healthy baby doing headspins in my tummy. I'm thinkin' he's going to have some of his daddy's sweet dance moves :) And hopefully my good looks, haha.

Birthday Boy

Yesterday was Derrick's 23rd birthday, so I decided to get him some balloons and a huge cake, haha. It was actually an ice cream cake from Baskin Robbin's, sooooooo good :) Then we just enjoyed a night in and watched Alvin and the Chipmunks, the squeakquel. Cute movie.

Movie Night!

Derrick and I had a date night and went to see Alice in Wonderland in 3D. It was sweet, almost as sweet as we look in our glasses :)

Putt-Putt

We went to Island Adventures Miniature Golf yesterday. It was fun until the mosquitos attacked us and the ginormous bees were chasing us. I thought we left the mosquitos in Alaska, apparently they can live in the heat too, dang it! Oh and for the record, the score was: Derrick - 64 / Ashley - 60. Boo-yaaa!

The New Do

I'm always so scared to try new hair salons, but I went to this one on post and it didn't turn out too bad. I think this is the blondest I've ever gone, and it's not what I asked for but I think it looks ok. She also threw a few more layers in which I really like.
