Happy Valentine's Day!

Went to the ice rink today, we made it around 1 whole time :) It was Derrick's first time since he was 4, so needless to say he was a little rusty. After we got home I made some strawberry cupcakes for the first time, they were delicious!!

Game night

We decided to do something fun this weekend, so we made our way to Dave & Busters. It's a giant arcade, like a Chucky Cheese for adults. It was a blast!!

This was right after I lost........ He hung in there for about 30 seconds without me :) That's ok, I whooped on him in some basketball.

I'm going to be a mommy!

The picture turned out a little blurry but I think it's still clear to see that there are two red lines, which yes, means I'm preggo!!! Derrick was at work when I took the test so I called him and tried sharing the news but couldn't stop crying, tears of joy of course! We are both extremely excited to have a new addition to the family! So now the countdown begins..... only 8 more months...

My Boo Boo

This is what happens when you try to save your soccer ball from rolling into the busy street while trying to exercise at the same time. So much for my gracefulness from 13 years in gymnastics :)

Cruisin'

My girlfriend Jenni from Alaska just up and moved to Hawaii a couple days ago (what a nut).... so today we decided to cruise around Honolulu while Derrick was at work and we actually had a vehicle. I had to wear the hat today to block the sun from my 3rd degree burns on my face from Sunday's tanning session at the beach.

Something new...

I figured since I have all this free time on my hands I figured I'd put together a little blog so my friends and family can stay posted on my new life here in Hawaii :) It's not going to be very exciting at first, and you'll see a lot of self portraits or just photo's of Derrick and I but it's all we have for right now.
